Teresa Eça

Plastic Artist and Visual Arts Teacher in secondary education. She completed her doctoral thesis on visual arts assessment at the University of Surrey-Roehampton in 2004. She is coordinator of the Research Group in the Arts; Community and Education (GriArCE). Collaborates with the Center for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC), at the University of Algarve. His interests are participatory action research; Artistic education; activism; participatory art; cross-cultural projects; Eco-citizenship. He has edited several books and written several articles in international magazines on art education. She is co-editor of Invisibilities magazine. He was President of the International Society for Education Through Art-InSEA between 2014 and 2019. He is President of the Association of Teachers of Expression and Visual Communication – APECV since 2008.
