Description

The course ‘Arts  in Educational Contexts: Southern Perspectives’ focuses on the foundations of education through the arts and arts education by international experts; and a forum do share participants’ experiences. This course is designed for  educators; teachers; cultural agents; social workers; and anyone interested in knowing more about arts education.

In this course invited experts will talk about topics such as learning  through the arts; social development through the arts; unique tools of artistic processes to create learning environments.  Participants will also have a constructive role in this online course, through interacting  with others and share ideas and practices.

Prerequisites

Participants are expected to have previous experience and competencies in Teacher training education  or arts training.

Assessment and certification

The course will be certified by the Teacher Training Centre Almada Negreiros, APECV, Portugal.
